MADISON, Wis. — The Overture Center will host more than 30 performances from local artists on Feb. 29 as part of International Festival 2020.
The free event will celebrate the rich cultural heritage found within the Madison community by highlighting artisans and performers who call Dane County home, according to a news release.
Guests will have a chance to purchase local arts and crafts while they indulge in cuisines inspired by cultures from around the world.
Buraka, La Joe Bla, Madame Chu and Nazkas Handmade are among the food vendors and artisans that will be featured at the festival.
Sweet Honey in the Rock, the award-winning all-female African-American a capella group, is also set to perform at 8 p.m. in the Overture Hall. Tickets for the show start at $28.
