Sara Hospitality signs MoU with Indonesia's PT Amithya Hotel Internasional - The Borneo Post

BALI, Indonesia: Sara Hospitality Sdn. Bhd (SHSB), a subsidiary company of SEDC Sarawak, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Amithya Hotel Internasional in Bali, Indonesia recently.

The MoU signed on Feb 15 will pave the way for both parties to explore potential business collaboration especially in areas of marketing packages and activities, collaterals and cross-selling through each hotel’s marketing platforms.

According to a press release issued to the local media, the collaboration will also include loyalty programmes currently undertaken separately by both parties.

This provides better mileage as well as a wider choice and opportunities for existing and prospective members to stay and dine at hotels belonging to both parties.

The collaboration will also serve as a platform to develop cross exposure between employees from both parties in terms of training and exchange programmes that will enhance their customer service delivery, sales and marketing activities and developing best service practices.

The MoU signing ceremony was executed by SHSB director Edwin Abit and Ibu Rucita Permatasari, the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of PT Amithya Hotel Internasional.

It was also witnessed by Dr (HC) Yuslan Yusoff JP, the chief operating officer (COO) of SHSB, the general manager of Grand Margherita Hotel and Riverside Majestic Hotel Mark Ferguson, the general manager of Damai Beach Resort Muhammad Fadhil Abdullah, and Grand Margherita Hotel and Riverside Majestic Hotel manager Patrick Lau.

Currently, Amithya Hotel and Resorts operates a hotel management service to nine hotels and villas throghout Indonesia namely the Grand Darmo Suite Surabaya, G Suite Surabaya, De Baghraf Hotel Sumenep, Kaberaz Hotel Sumenep, 18 Suites Villa Loft Kuta, Coral Villa Bali, Grand Mozza Hotel Timika, One South Banyuwangi and 18 Suites Reserve UBUD (opening soon).

SHSB is the wholly owned subsidiary company of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC Sarawak) and it has the objective of becoming a full-fledged hotel management company.

The company also aims to expand its operations locally and internationally through its brand, HEMiSPHERE which currently has seven portfolios under its wing, namely Grand Margherita Hotel, Riverside Majestic Hotel Puteri Wing, Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing, Damai Beach Resorts & Spa, Damai Lagoon Resort & Spa, Sarawak Cultural Village and Damai Golf Country Club.
