NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was killed in a shooting at the Newroz International Market in Nashville.
Metro Nashville police officials say an employee of the market was shot in the head and died at the scene. They responded to the shooting, which happened around 5:30 p.m. at the market on Elysian Fields Court.
They found the victim laying near the back door of the market.
Video surveillance shows a man dressed in a black hoodie, blue jeans, and brown shoes enter the store armed with a handgun. The suspect was only inside the location for few seconds and ran away from the market.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
